May is Melanoma Awareness Month and as someone with family members and friends who've dealt with bouts of skin cancer, covering up and protecting ourselves while enjoying sunny days is very important. But there's no reason to give up your sense of style while doing so! Dorfman Pacific was kind enough to send me one of their Scala Roll Up Visors, Style LP54 for review.
This lightweight visor is made out of durable paper braid materials and rolls up easily for travel, a velcro closure and handy self tie keep it secure. All this without winkling, so it bounces back into shape and always looks great! Doesn't my mom look great?
As you can see from this side view, the brim provides amble sun protection. I like the open top because I find a visor style more breathable, translation - my head doesn't get as hot so I'm more likely to wear it longer!
Style LP54 is available in 9 colors that range from a neutral, like the one shown above, to bright pop colors and classic white and black. This particular style was even chosen as one of Oprah's favorites in O,
The Oprah Magazine a few seasons ago. It's classic styling means it
continues to be very popular! It retails for about $25 and can be found for purchase on Hartford York.
Disclosure: A complimentary product was provided for review. The opinions and experiences related within are both personal and unbiased.
