Hi Friends and Happy New Year to each and everyone of you! I'm excited to kick off the start of 2013 with our very first Crafty Soiree! Looking forward to clickin' on over to visit you at your place :) Here's our features from last week!
Sarah from High Heels and Grills' family enjoys their Christmas Slush at the holidays but it sounds so fruity and sweet I bet it tastes just as good any time of the year. I was thinking the pretty red color would also make it a great special drink for Valentine's Day!
Heather Leopard used a beautiful wintery collection from Little Yellow Bicycle to make a beautiful Winter Memories book. It's just gorgeous, lots of variety and different embellishments to make it special. I have used LYB's coordinating line to make mini books before too and I love how well everything works together.
Over at Plucky's Second Thought, she's done something I've been wanting to try for a long time, making Washi Tape Frames! It was cool to see they came out just as cute as I thought they would. Now I'll have to dive into my collection and try making my own!
Just today I was talking with another mom about how ugly many pacifier clips were, which is a shame because when your kiddo depends on one...you need a clip to make sure it doesn't get lost. It's no fun being out and about, with a crying kid as you frantically look for the paci in your huge diaper bag. Kelsey from Fancy That Notion has a boutique chic solution with her Pacifier Clips!
It wasn't until the past few years that I finally started getting into country gravy, I never understood the facination with it before. But now I sure do but only get to have it occassionally. That may change now that Kelley at Miss Information has shared her yummy looking Country Gravy and Biscuits Casserole. It's a southern breakfast all in one.
Party Guidelines
1. Link up to four of your creative projects (No Etsy stores or other linky parties pretty please).
2. Add your link to the specific posts not the main URL.
3. Add a "Crafty Soiree" button to your blog or posts.
4. Please comment on the post linked up in front of you. All partygoers love meeting new friends... don't just stop there...if you see something that catches your fancy-- stop by and say hi!
5. Your hostesses would love it if you'd follow us. You can find Malia here.
Thanks for the chance to link up! Happy New Year, Katie! ~ Angie @ The Dating Divas
