A Crafty Soiree #111

Halloween and fall always seem to kick off the biggest crafting period of the year at our house.  This year a busy 14 month old, that gets into everything, has really put the kibosh on my creative time.  But a girl can dream and plan for next year, when I might have a little more time to make one of these fabulous projects!
Forever Autumn Tea Light Holder from Quinton Wench.  I have a Japanese Maple in our front yard, I'm going to have to snag a few leaves to make these.  Aren't they gorgeous all lit up?
How to Make a Pillow Cover from a Sweater at Daisy Mae Belle, I love that it's a slipcover and tied on.  Pretty ribbon bows just make everything better.  Doesn't it look fabulous with the chevron pillow next to it?
Pumpkin Candle Holders from Creating in Glass Slippers, can you guess what these started out as?  I'd had to do a double take to see beneath the paint and figure out how they began.
Halloween Centerpiece: Mod Podge Ornaments by One Artsy Mama, what fun project to do with your child!  I bet Little Crafter is very proud of his contributions to the holiday decorations!  They used a kid friendly Mod Podge to make these, which I'd never heard of before.  I'm gonna have to go add some to our crafty stash.
Halloween Mesh Wreath Tutorial from The Project Queen.  I love these wreaths and have been wondering how to make one of my own.  It looked kinda complicated but Mandy's tutorial helps a lot and she also links to a video with more tips.
This week Malia and I don't have a giveaway specific to A Crafty Soiree, but I wanted to give a shout out about the fabulous offer she has for $50 worth of David Tutera Celebrate card making supplies.  His system looks to be a stylish and easy way to give a handmade card.  Go enter Malia's giveaway and try to win some goodies for yourself!

Party Guidelines
1.  Link up to four of your creative projects (No Etsy stores or other linky parties pretty please).
2.  Add your link to the specific posts not the main URL.
3.  Add a "Crafty Soiree" button to your blog or posts.
4.  Please comment on the post linked up in front of you.  All partygoers love meeting new friends... don't just stop there...if you see something that catches your fancy-- stop by and say hi!
5.  Your hostesses would love it if you'd follow us. You can find Malia here.
