Upcycled Desk Organizer

My daughter recently got a snazzy new desk, isn't the graffiti style top cool?  It has drawers but she still needed a way to have easy access to her writing materials.  The empty oatmeal containers my mom has been collecting for me were perfect for corralling all her stuff.
This easy project can be done in less than half an hour.  The hardest part is figuring out what papers to choose!  We found a great pattern pack of papers called Girl Girl by Colorbök and they matched the desk exactly.  Plus they are super cute and feature all of the motif's ER loves most: peace symbols, stars, and butterflies.
We picked out three sheets we liked, cut to size, and used a glue stick to attach.  Then I hot glued them together, easy peasy.  You could line the insides, it would be a bit prettier but since I know open markers and pencils are likely to leave stray marks as they're put in and out, I didn't bother.  Plus the kraft look is in, yeah thats it...I meant to leave it like that, it's not laziness or anything like that ☺  Now all you need to do is fill 'er up!
