Gosh a whole month behind in sharing Project Life! I had hoped to get two weeks up today but we were out of town last weekend, taking the baby to meet his Great Grandma in Missouri for the first time. And well, it's better to be out living life than worrying about blogging it! I will catch up on taking pictures of my pages and posting one of these weeks!
At the beginning of March we were just getting back from our trip to Disney World and cruise on the Disney Dream. We flew home, had mounds of laundry, lots of mail waiting, and took a few days to get back into the regular swing of things. The end of the week picked up with an early birthday dinner, lunch to deliver Girl Scout cookies, and parties on Saturday.
I had taken so many pictures the previous week that I was a bit anti-camera. I had fewer photos and less to write about, and was worried about filling both pages. Surprisingly, I ended up having plenty. I also go to use some Project Life goodies I purchased online and had been waiting for a good opportunity to use.
Here is the first half of the week:
The elements on the Sunday photo + journaling are all from the same retired kit The Happiest Place by Wild Dandelion Designs I used last week, and it's the same Paisley Press photo templates too.
I used Crystal's Color Combo #4 3X4 Journaling Cards in the first and last little pockets on this page. They are just beautiful and print out so nicely! The kits come as a PDF, but I was able to open it in PSE. Did everyone but me know you can use PDFs in PSE? It was a total surprise to me. I meant to open a different file and was shocked when it popped up in PSE. I added my text and then cropped the whole page down to just the individual card I typed over. That's how I was able to print just one with my text on it. Just make sure you Save As before making your edits.
The little plane icon is from the same retired Scrap Orchard collab Mega called It's a Journey, also used last week. The quote I found in this great collection of travel quotes.
I also used Color Combo #4 - 42 Elements, Digital Version. I just love that kit and popped the gray polka dot 3X4 image that already came with the love circle element on it into a photo template, added my journaling right on top, and printed the whole thing as a 4X6. The grey and green happen to match the preprinted cards from my Project 365 kit exactly!
Right Side:
The second half of the week had a couple of days with photos with a lot of friends. Saturday had a lot of little kids from a birthday party. I elected not to show those pictures and since without them, the half page image looks kinda empty don't have a close up version.
Only one design thing I want to point out for this side. I also used part of the 42 elements kit on the right hand side of the layout for the day I went to my birthday dinner with my friend Margaret. The "I Am Blessed" image was also a 3X4 that I added to a smaller slot on my photo template. So glad I picked the digital version so I could play around with it and use the images in different sizes.

your pages look great...I think people need to schedule a few at home days at the end of their vacation to deal with mail and laundry before they have to get back in the swing of things :)
I have been debating whether or not to get the dividers...I JUST CAN'T decide...

Really great pages. Love the colors together and really like that March divider. Might have to get that at some point.
Wow love your pages. They are great!
I love when you don't think you have enough to fill the week you totally do! love that. your captures about life after vacation are perfect!
Nice to see that digital kit in action--I have been considering buying it for quite sometime. Looks awesome! (oh and I spied a quilt in the background that I LOVED.) Did you make it?! --heather (www.heathershomemadehome.com)
