December is wonderful for many reasons and a lot of designers are particularly generous in sharing their talents all month long. So clear out some space in the hardrive and get ready to be busy downloading all month long! I've found some great freebies I want to share with you!
Louise Franks Designs has an adorable kit for free on her blog. Season of Giving is part of the Worldwide Christmas Scrapbooking Freebies, which is a great opportunity to find new designers as you hop around collecting free kits. I'm a bit partial to Louise's kit, but there are many great kits to pick up and build up your stash.Scrap Orchard, one of my favorite digiscrap stores has a fantastic freebie for their newsletter subscribers, each day another link to this kit is emailed out. There's also an eclectic alphabet and numbers to go with it. See the kit previews in this post, where you can also snag a freebie template. If you sign up today for the newsletter you won't miss much and can still get most of the kit.
I couldn't find a preview for the Daily Download at Scrap Matters, but it's kind of like the promotion above. You just need to go to their forum each day to get the link. A lot of times the links expire quickly so head over quickly to try and get the first day! Download them all and you end up with a collab kit!
Sweet Shoppe Designs is doing one of my favorite December freebies again this year too. The "cookies" in the Cookies for Kids are awesome templates 31 in all! One new freebie available for one day and one day only. If you miss a couple of days or want to spread some holiday cheer the complete set is also available for purchase with proceeds going to Toys for Tots.
The last storewide, forum based freebie I found is at Scrapping Fairytales and each day you'll get a new freebie and special deal through their Advent Calendar.
I don't know if these designers will be offerring freebies this year but in the past I've gotten some great ones from Designs by Dani, Meghan Mullens, and Heather Roselli Designs. I think these were given through 12 Days of Christmas events so it pays to check back!
This last one isn't holiday themed but is also available for free from Designs by Connie Prince, through a Daily Download, this time at Ginger Scraps. There is even a coordinating mini kit on the designer's Facebook Page. This designer and her CT give a lot of freebies, usually things like paper packs or quick pages so if you like her style it's worth it to check her blog regularly. There are also hybrid freebies from time to time, like this cute calendar.
Do you know of any digital scrapbooking freebies for the holidays? Share your links in the comments!
The Christmas Around the World blog train has some wonderful stuff in it and I can highly recommend it :)
