MEGA Blok's Domino Build game is a bright and colorful game for children ages 3-6 years. Players will have fun learning all about colors and numbers while matching and developing fine motor skills. It’s a great product for both boys and girls and suggested retail value is $10.99.
What we liked most about
Domino Build is that it's fairly quick and easy to play, a great one to introduce your children to board games. The youngest of children should be able to play with little frustration and it's simple enough for two children to play together independently. The
MEGA Bloks are a nice addition to a traditional matching domino game and add interest. My daughter enjoys playing with the animal MEGA Bloks and creating her own imaginary animals.
On the flipside, our daughter is four and a half years old and it's not very challenging for her. I think that children older than her would quickly loose interest. It's really best for the younger side of the suggested age range. I think for her age the game is no longer about learning colors and numbers but rather a good way for kids to work on cooperative play and taking turns. It would be a good game for a play date or for older siblings to play with younger ones.
MEGA Bloks Domino Build is around ten dollars and a good choice for families with young children and priced right for gift giving too. It's nicely made with sturdy cardboard dominos, cute illustrations, and hands-on fun. For maximum usage, I sugguest purchasing it as your child first begins to show interest in games.
Even though my child has outgrown it for learning purposes, she still enjoys playing it and we can play several games in a short amount of time. It's a good game for us to play when we have ten minutes or so between activities and outings.
