A Crafty Soiree #15

Before we start with this week's soiree, I wanted to give a big shout out to my co-hostess Malia! She's in the mist of week long BLOGIVERSARY celebration that's full of GIVEAWAYS! She is such a sweetie and always shares inspiring ideas, like the chalkcloth stockings she posted recently, super cute! I am so glad she joined the world of blogging and I hope you'll stop by and help her par-tay by entering some of her fabulous giveaways! Okay, back to our regularly scheduled programing...today I am spotlighting three great ideas for kids! These holiday finger puppets from meyamo are so darn cute! A set would make a great stocking stuffer and if you've got a lot of little ones at your next gathering, they'd also be fun to put at each guest's place setting. I love gifts that foster imagination! PDF patterns are provided on their site.
Another fun stocking stuffer idea, that never gets old in my opinion, are recycled crayons. Don't Waste Your Homemaking has put a festive twist on hers by making them with holiday themed molds. Crayons get broken all the time at our house and we save them all to make new ones with. We especially like to make rainbow colored ones with our pieces, they look so pretty in a cello bag tied up with ribbon.
Fun on a Dime has a great Christmas craft that you can do with your kids. I really like it because it is a way to recycle previous year's greeting cards, get your children involved in making holiday memories, and is inexpenive too!
