Merry Christmas from Shutterfly and You: Creating Beautiful Custom Photo Greetings

Last year we sent the most beautiful Christmas photo cards from Shutterfly. I loved the heavy extra thick weight of the cards, and the wide range of elegant designs. My favorite thing about them, was being able to add photos to the inside too. I could pick from all text to various picture layouts for one to six pictures. On ther right side there is plenty of room for a message and often a little graphic detail that coordinates with the overall design of the card.

It was so quick and easy too! I've had an account with Shutterfly since ER was born, four years ago. It were I upload photos to store, share, and create photo gifts from wall calendars to photobooks. All my photos from the entire year are already there. With just a few clicks I can see all my favorites and pick a few to add to our holiday cards.

Our Christmas card is the only card we sent to some of our friends and family all year. I want it to be memorable, classic looking, and extra special. You know what I mean, one of the cards that's saved long after the snow melts. This year I'm having a really hard time choosing!

I really like how in this design your photo is the focal point, but there's still a bit of decorative flair with the shaped text box.

I don't think I have quite the right picture for this one, but I've always loved holly and berries for the holidays. Plus the color palate of pink, green, and red is my favorite for Christmas. On the inside there is less room for a message on the right side, that's because three more pictures are incorporated. How cool!

I'm also considering this one, because it fits several pictures on the front. Great for families with more than one child. I also am attracted to the use of different font styles. That would be really great for family's with more than one child.I love the "story" board inside design. What a fun way to give a little snippet about each member of the family and what he or she has been up to during the past year. This totally eliminates the need for lengthy family newsletter!

There is just a level of print quality and sophistication in the designs at Shutterfly that I haven't found anywhere else. I use them all year round, normally even having them stamp and send my cards directly to the recipient. Have you got a favorite Christmas card design? How will you make your holiday cards special?
