Clic-it Diaper Bag Review

Let me start out by stating, I am NOT pregnant, not yet! Continue to keep your fingers crossed for us, cause as many of you know, we're hoping to conceive any time now! Thought I better begin with by clearing that up, before any of my long time readers get themselves all excited.
We ARE looking forward to welcoming three little babies in the next year, as we've got some little ones expected in our extended family and friends:) As I am affectionately known as "Queen of the Handbags" among my friends, I'm always interested in knowing about newest and best ways to haul all our mommy gear around! I was really excited to get the new Clic-It™ Smart Diaper Bag System from Baby Boom to review. The system is designed to give parents the freedom to attach or detach a variety of accessory cases with one easy click. You can customize your bag with your accessory choices; they make it easier to find exactly what you need. It's a very roomy messenger style, that's good for all the Daddies to carry too!We were sent the Clic-It™ bag ($49.99) in black along with two accessories. The organizer pouch ($9.99) is on the right in the picture above. I would use it to keep the few things I need separate so I could find my phone, lip gloss, and mints quick and easily.I'll show you with the bottle holder, ($11.99) what makes this bag unique. Here's a close up of the patent pending technology, that lets you click on and off your accessories. It's easy enough to do with one hand, just squeeze each side and pop off. You can add and rearrange the accessories so your bag holds what you want, where you want it.The bottle holder is insulated and sized to hold two bottles. The interior is wipe clean, so any spills are easy to clean. On the back is an ID holder and another pocket. You could also use it to carry along a couple drink boxes and a snack as your baby enters toddlerhood. When you have a baby you can't have too many pockets to stash all your stuff. Two are in the front and two are on each side. Here's the roomy interior, lined with plastic so it's wipe clean. Two more pockets and two more spots to attach your Clic-It™ accessories inside.. I think the key ring and pacifier holder would be great to keep there. Two smaller items it will be nice to not have to dig around for! In the back is a nice large matching diaper changing pad, that is included with the Clic-It™ diaper bag. It's got all the bells and whistles you'd want and is larger than the one I used to carry. As your baby gets a little bigger, it's probably all you'll need to take to the bathroom. I remember all the little things I used to lug around during diaper duty. It's nice that there are so many places to stash things, like this attached zipper plastic bag with two mesh pockets, good for diaper cream!
Here's more of the nice little touches on the changing pad design. Besides the handle, there's a zippered and open pocket in the back, the open one is big enough to fit a spare diaper. The last feature I'd like to point out is that the big flap zips off for style options. You can carry the bag with a top handle like an attache case, over the shoulder, or across the body. One of my favorite parts about the Clic-It™ bag are these two little handles you can use to attach it to your stroller handle. None of my diaper bags had that capability, I had to put mine underneath the stroller seat and it was a hassle to get things in and out. I would see other moms with bags that did do that and be a little jealous.

This bag is so versatile and I like the variety of accessories so you can make it fit for your life style. Plus this bag has a lot of potential for post baby usage. It's got plenty of room for our netbook and would also make a great bag to keep packed for daycare, a short overnight trip, or even the gym. It's also a lot more unisex than the bright pink bag I carried when my preschooler was a baby.

You can also find out more about the new Clic-It™ Smart Diaper Bag System from Baby Boom on their Facebook page. Clic-It™ products are currently available on their website and will be in select retailers later this fall.

  1. Katie, this is a fantastic review! I got the same bag to review, and honestly I just learned more about it by reading your review. I hadn't been able to figure out what that handle on the back was, until you mentioned carrying it attache-style. You are awesome, thanks!

I agree that the clips are really cool, I always wanted to have a diaper bag like that, and this is the first one I've gotten. I also love how much this bag can hold - we're planning to pack it for our flight next month, and it will be so handy to have all the different pockets and compartments.
