Gathering the family around the dinner table to enjoy a home cooked meal is a great way to unwind, but there aren’t always enough hours in the day to prepare an entire meal from scratch. Even though mashed potatoes aren't that hard to make, we never seem to have them except at Thanksgiving! Which is surprising when you consider that it's one side dish everyone in the family likes.
Now we can make a delicious side dish that’s easy to prepare and tastes homemade, with Betty Crocker’s® Boxed Instant Mashed Potatoes. They're made with 100% real potatoes, with a just-like-mom’s taste.
We recently had some along with a rotisserie chicken from the deli for dinner. I also made a salad and finished it just as Brad got done making the Betty Crocker’s® Boxed Instant Mashed Potatoes. It only took eight minutes from stove top to table; it was a great quick dinner!
Based on a scratch recipe, the Homestyle Creamy Butter variety will have your family thinking you spent hours in the kitchen the next time you serve up a hearty helping. If you prefer an extra kick of flavor, give the Roasted Garlic variety a try. And with two pouches in every box there’s plenty to go around. Now we can make a delicious side dish that’s easy to prepare and tastes homemade, with Betty Crocker’s® Boxed Instant Mashed Potatoes. I would definitely have to say Wednesdays is a total choatic day for us. After school the kids hit the homework while I whip up a quick meal. Then it is off to church for the rest of the evening. This would be a great day to have Betty Crocker Potato Buds and cube steaks. Yummy, but fast and easy.

ReplyDeleteI serve these potatoes often! One day is pretty much the same as the other, since my daughter has swim team practice until 7:30 every day, and my son has karate at the same time a few times a week!
