Disney Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue

Fans of the Disney Fairies will be excited next week, when on September 21st, the all-new, original full-length CG animated film, featuring the residents of Pixie Hallow hits the stores. Disney Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue was a huge hit with our resident fairy fan! ER's been seeing the previews on television and every time she saw it, she'd ask me to get it for her. She needed it, she informed me, because she met all the fairies at Walt Disney World, and they'd want her to see them again.
I wish you all could've seen how her face lit up when I let her open the envelope with the reviewers copy in it. She had to wait a day to watch it, and as you can see she had to view it in her Tinker Bell costume, with the water fairy Silvermist beside her. Immediately after seeing it for the first time, ER ran over to me and while bouncing up and down with excitement said, "Oh Mommy, I had to wait the longest time to see it but it was AWESOME!!!" I think that pretty much is all the review most parents need!
But for the those of you who might like to know a little bit more about Disney Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, I'll add that it's bound to be a favorite, because it's about what every true believer of fairies dreams of, actually meeting one and even getting to soar through the clouds with the help of some pixie dust.

There is breathtaking animation, spunky fairies working together to overcome any obstacle, and learning that of all the things a Tinker fairy can do, being a friend is the best of all. As always, there is a magical Disney ending, with Lizzie's father realizing what really matters. Out of all three Disney Fairy movies, this is the one I like the most.
Synopsis:

Before she was ever introduced to Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a girl with a steadfast belief in fairies. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue begins in summertime in the beautiful English countryside. An enchanting encounter unfolds when Tinker Bell is discovered by Lizzy, and as their different worlds unite, Tink develops a special bond with the curious girl in need of a friend.

As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of the fairies in jeopardy. This action-packed adventure takes the fairies of Pixie Hollow on a daring flight to London to save Tinker Bell and all of fairy kind.

Disney Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, hits stores next Tuesday on September 21st. The suggested retail price in the US is $29.99 DVD and $39.99 Blu-ray Combo Pack.
