Right now one of my favorite places to eat is partnering with Easter Seals for a great cause. While my family did not personally need assistance from Easter Seals we're very familiar with them and know they've helped many families with children who have disabilities. Additionally, as a former special education teacher, I am well aware of the good work Easter Seals does to provide exceptional services, education, outreach, and advocacy so that people living with autism and other disabilities can live, learn, work and play in our communities.
From June 1-30, Sweet Tomatoes is calling all cookie monsters to enjoy its famous homemade chocolate chip cookies to benefit Easter Seals, a national non-profit that helps children and adults with special needs.
Guests will have the option to purchase a bag of cookies for $2, with 100 percent of the proceeds from cookie sales going to Easter Seals. In addition to the cookies, guests will receive a ‘buy one, get one’ coupon for a free meal for a friend or family member when purchasing a meal and beverages at regular price that can be redeemed on a return visit.
This is available at the Sweet Tomatoes restaurants in the following locations: Pacific Northwest, Chicago, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado and Utah. For information about Sweet Tomatoes visit http://www.sweettomatoes.com/ or for information about Easter Seals visit http://www.easterseals.com/.
I've had those cookies, they are GOOD! Well worth $2 in and of themselves. When paired with a donation to a great cause AND a buy one get one free coupon it's a win win for everyone. How can you NOT do this?
I am sharing this news because I happen to love Sweet Tomatoes, really I do & you can read about it here, and because I support this cause. No compensation of any kind was received...well other than I feel I did my good deed for the day☺
