Everyday Scrapbook Pages: Winter

One of the main reasons I love scrapbooking is because it helps me capture all little moments. Don't get me wrong, it's important to document the holidays and birthdays but everday life IS so much of our lives that I find the little stories are the most precious memories to remember. These pictures from December '07 are all a little blurry but they capture ER's little hips swinging and bopping along to the Christmas music. She loves dancing and two years ago is when it really started up.
I've seen fabric tags and made my own out of a bit of larger ribbon folded in half. A fun hat pin with some ribbon tied on is stuck through it. I put the sharp end under the edge of the paper. The little plastic tips that come on the end of some French hook earrings are also handy for protecting fingers too.

Did you notice the edges of my brand new punch? See the ragged edges? I tried the whole punch through tin foil to sharpen it but it's not really fixing the issue. So annoying...
Back to the fun stuff...I mixed two different white rub-on letter sets to create the title and used some super fun glittery chipboard snowflakes. The paper has embossed and shiny snowflakes on it and I didn't want to cover it up or compete too much with it, so I kept things fairly simple.
Two years ago ER fell and hit her head against the television. It did leave a mark for several days, but what we remember the most is how the Drama Queen came out! It really was a reason for her to need her little boo-boo bunny ice cube holder. I thought the paper with little bunnies was a perfect fit for these pictures.
I love this page because it records just how random toddler fun is. The journaling reads: Dress up and buttons, covering up Mable, dancing around her, it's all just...Another Day With You. I am still debating whether or not I should add the date in the middle below the pictures.
The paper I used came from a scrap pad from Die Cuts with a View, so I have multiple sheets. I fancy cut three of the flowers out of a second sheet and attached them with pop dots. I think it really adds to the layout.
