This will be a great way for me to mix and mingle with other bloggers and learn from their expertise. I know I'll feel "star struck" surrounded by the big time bloggers and will probably seem pretty green and clueless but this is a not to be missed opportunity. Thanks to Amy at Resourceful Mommy Media for helping to coordinate my invite. I'd welcome sponsors to help subsidize my expenses, if your company is interested in doing so, please email me or leave a comment below.
It's timed right too, this is going to be the best early birthday present I've ever gotten! We haven't gone on a "big" trip in awhile, i.e. one that involves staying at a hotel and not with family, the last one was when we went to Sedona and the Grand Canyon while still living in NM. I'm looking forward to going someplace warm too☺ I am thinking positive thoughts and anticipating the cold snap they're having will be over by then.
If you've been to the Magic Kingdom lately and have any tips or hints you want to share please let me know! This is the first time we'll be going with a child, and it's been about 15 years since I've been to the one in FL. Our last Disney adventure was in CA. I can't stress enough how thrilled I am to be a part of this exciting opportunity!
Congratulations! What a wonderful opportunity for you and a magical vacation for your family. Your daughter is going to love Cinderella. I am sure she will be talking about it for years to come. Take lots of pictures!
ReplyDeleteyou are so lucky> congrats and have fun!
ReplyDeleteWow Katie! I am so happy for you! What a wonderful opportunity. I know you and your family will really enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteWOW...how exciting!!! I am so happy for you and your family!! Meara was four the first time we took her. I had always said we would wait until she was older but the opportunity arose and we went. I am so glad we did! It filled my heart with so much excitement and happiness to see her reaction to everything! You guys are going to have so much FUN!! I recommend the meal plan and eating w/ the princesses at Epcot. Since it's so close to your trip you might be able to still get reservations at Akershush Royal Banquet Hall. We also enjoyed the Crystal Palace character dining w/ Winnie the Pooh characters at Magic Kingdom. I can't wait to see your pictures! ;-) You guys could use the Disney countdown we made http://eagerlittlemind.blogspot.com/2009/04/disney-countdown-craft.html
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Do you have any room in your suitcase for a couple of stowaways? :)
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful! I am so happy for all three of you.
ReplyDeleteWow what an exciting time for everyone. Enjoy and have a great time. I can't wait to read about your time there. I can't wait to see photos of E.R as well!
ReplyDeleteI'll be there Katie! It would be wonderful to try to meet up. I'll be on the lookout for you at the conference. I live in Florida so we'll be driving over.
ReplyDeleteYou lucky lady! Great present indeed!
ReplyDeleteI hate traveling by myself too.
I have never been to Florida. You are the picture taking queen so I know you will not disappoint.;)
Fun, Fun, Fun!!
How wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteYou absolutely must go to Disney's Animal Kingdom. My favorite park. Course, I may be biased since I use to work there and drive for Kilimanjaro Safaris....but it's such a great way to end a trip. Nice and relaxing. Lots of animals and some rides still.
Highly recommend it!!
Congratulations! That is so amazing for you and your family. Have a fantastic time!!!! I can't wait to hear all about it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!! This is so exciting! I cannot wait to read all about your adventures when you return! :-)
