Staple the half plate to the whole plate as shown in top picture. This will create the pocket. Make eyes out of two sizes of circle and glue a big red pom pom on for the nose. Reindeer headband optional.
These are perfect for stashing little cards or notes. If in the classroom, students can practice writing little notes to one another. Kindergarten students love copying a message at the writing station, they won't even realize they are practicing handwriting☺ and then delivering it. At home, it would be fun to find in the morning, a note from one of Santa's elfs inside telling your child what they've been doing to stay on the "nice" list.

Hi,
ReplyDeleteThe Raindeer is so cute. It would be easy to do this with children of all ages. Thanks for stopping by and linking up.
Very cute! My son loves all things Rudolph... maybe we'll do this this afternoon. Maybe if I make an oversized version, we can use it as a Christmas card holder.
ReplyDeleteLove it! So simple, and I love functional crafts. Now if people would just send us some Christmas cards... :)
