When my friend Margaret saw the invitation for ER's birthday in her Inbox, she liked it so much that she asked me to help her make one for her daughter's upcoming party. I told her no promises, but I'll do my best. It is after all, only my second attempt☺ I stuck to the same basic design as the last one, and she and her oldest daughter were both thrilled with the end result.
Since it's going to be emailed to all the guests, I had fun making it in a hip square shape. No extra postage need☺ What made it difficult is that I had to use pieces from kits I already had and combine them. It was a fun challenge; I incorporated some elements from freebies I've found here and there, and still got to use two of my new kits!
I also made up a couple of quick drop in a picture frames, one in each orientation. I thought these would be fun to add a picture of the birthday girl with each of her little guests. They are in standard 4X6 dimensions, and could be easily sent to an online photo developer. Enclose them in the thank you card and each girl would have a little memory of the party. Instead of the thank you, the girls names could easily be substituted. I am going to try and add a little tag to the flower area on the one below. Then the message could be written there. In case your wondering, the pictures of ER are from last Valentine's Day.
