Muffin Tin Monday, Now Serving Buttons!

Have you heard about serving meals to your kids in a muffin tin? Little bits of food go into each compartment. There's even a weekly feature on Her Cup Overfloweth, if you'd like to check them out. I haven't given my toddler a meal or a snack in a muffin tin yet, but I may have to resort to it soon, as she hasn't been eating very well at all lately. The color themed ones look pretty cute and as we're working on learing our colors, would be a fun way to do a thematic snack.
Right now our muffin tin is being used for sorting my extensive button collection by color. This is a little harder than sorting the heart erasers as they come in different sizes, shapes, and shades. She still needs my help from time to time. I'm amazed by how long she'll work on this. Tomorrow, I'll share how we use the erasers and/or buttons for counting and 1:1 correspondence practice.

I use my muffin tins for making muffins. ☺ AND for sorting change to be rolled. ♥

Didn't I just use that tin yesterday to make muffins. No that was a different one I think. Very interesting.

This is such a cute idea. In fact, after I read the post I got out a muffin tin and some buttons. My daughter is working on sorting as I type.
